Relic of His Childhood Past

Mini pool balls are the only surviving toys from Edralin's childhood.

These balls were part of a mini pool toy set Edralin's dad gave him some long time ago.  Considering the facts that Edralin's not the sentimental collector type of guy, and that we've moved from one apartment to another (we've moved four times), it's amazing how we still have the complete set (plus box) to photograph!

I remember when he took this shot, he was instantly flooded with memories from his kidhood.  How about you?  Do you still have any of your kidhood toys with you?  I, for one, don't think any of my childhood toys survived (too bad).  Some got broken, some went lost, some got thrown away, some were borrowed and never returned, some were given away, and the remaining some (the really good ones) got handed down to my younger siblings (which they eventually broke or lost).  The fun memories remained, though.  And that, for me, is equally important.  I may not have any toy to hand down to our future kiddos, but both Edralin and I have tons of stories to share.
